    LJT & Associates, Inc. provides a wide range of engineering and other support services to the U.S. Government and International customers. We are a diverse business with expertise in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of a variety of engineering and hardware integration solutions as well as operations and maintenance support for both launch ranges and space communications tracking and network systems and base operating support. We are seeking a qualified candidate to support various government contracts.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Prepare comprehensive operational and contractual budgets, forecasts, reports, and variance analysis.
    • Ensures quality and timely complex contractual financial deliverables.
    • Works in partnership with Accounting, Program Managers, Contracts, and Human Resources, especially with respect to contract set up, proper contract cost accumulation, revenue recognition, and invoicing.
    • Develops cost proposals as necessary in support of proposals.
    • Assigns and creates new Deltek job and work breakdown structure numbers.
    • Reviews purchase requisitions for proper general ledger and job cost coding.
    • Reviews travel expense reports for proper general ledger and job cost coding.
    • Responsible for setup and maintenance of contract charge codes and labor categories.
    • Responsible for generation and submission of all customers invoices and manages revenue and unbilled project costs.
    • Acts as the liaison between the finance department and Contract Program Management.
    • Provides complex forecast and EAC analysis as necessary.
    • Maintains all financial contract records for audit purposes.
    • Perform special analysis of major issues as required.
    • Evaluate processes and identify improvements.






    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Business Administration or related field.
    • Minimum five years of experience in financial contract administration, variance analysis & reporting, experience in revenue recognition and invoicing on Government contracts.
    • Detail oriented with demonstrated analytical skills.
    • Ability to consistently meet or exceed determined deadlines.
    • Strong skills with MS Excel and Word.
    • Deltek Costpoint and Cognos 10 experience strongly preferred.
    • Proposal pricing preferred.
    • Knowledge of FAR & CAS preferred.
