    Duties & Responsibilities

    -Manages NCTAMS DoD Gateway operations at the Wahiawa site - responsible for local and remote operations.

    -Directs all activities in a 24/7 shift operation in support of the USN warfighter.

    -Achieves and maintains 98.5% systems availability

    -Ensures all terminals and baseband equipment is operated IAW Strategic Command Instructions, DoD Teleport System CONOPS, Wideband Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Wideband Operational Directive Messages and all other directives 

    -Maintains SOP, develop SOP to reflect new systems, to achieve 98.5% systems availability

    -Builds all missions thirty minutes prior to required activation time

    -Ensures professional standards and timely communications with all Gateway users and NCTAMS contract leadership

    -Responsible for the facilities professionalism and timely communication with both customers and higher authority.

    -Ensures the balance of work load to an integrated support team managing the daily (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) care and operations of equipment located in multiple geographically separated locations.

    -Maintains Standard Operating Procedures and develops procedures to assure maximum availability of operational assets

    -Help resolve disputes or disagreements

    -Ensure Operators are properly trained, executing, and reporting in a timely manner 

     -Provides timely reports on Equipment Status, Trend Analysis, HAZCON, and Outages

    -Maintains the sites Master Station Log and ensures all events occurring on shift are accurately documented

    -Responsible for the sites security. Conducts periodic security rounds of the building and compound.






    -Obtain EKMS 301 certification within 30 days of hire

    -Bachelor’s Degree or Security +, GSEC, Various OJT Equivalent
