    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Support NSROC property management system for Government Furnished Property (GFP), Contractor

    Acquired Property, and Installation Accountable Government Property (IAGP) for the NSROC III Program in

    accordance with requirements outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Manual (FAR).

    • Responsible for the inventory items in Buildings F–10 “controlled stockroom” and “equipment storeroom”

    and F–9, F-29

    • Assist in maintaining Costpoint stock records using computerized database that reflects the transactions

    accomplished relative to ordering, receiving, costing, storing, issuing and returning of materials and supplies

    • Maintain an orderly and clean storage / work area.
    • Participate in yearly wall-to-wall inventory requirements
    • Participate in scheduled and unscheduled Government, corporate, ISO-9001, and NSROC Property System

    audits

    • Occasional local and long distance travel required
    • Perform other related duties as assigned or required

    Qualifications

    Specific Requirements / Licensing

    • Must possess a familiarity with electronic / hardware terms to enable recognition of the components, their

    care and storage, and the filing and issuing of these components

    • Good knowledge of Government, company, and NSROC III property control system requirements
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Ability to lift heavy items on a regular basis

     

    Training or certification in the following may be required:

    • Verticle Lift and Costpoint
    • NSROC Certification Tracking System (NCTS) Training
    • Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Control per GSFC-GPR8730.6
    • Forklift Operator Certification per GPR 8719.1B
    • General Safety Awareness, IT Security, Environmental Compliance, and Personnel Safety and Health
    • Hazardous Materials Handlers (see Safety and Health Plan)
    • Ordnance / Pyrotechnics Awareness per GSFC / WFF 800-PG-8715.0.2C

    Minimum Education required for the Position

    High School Diploma or GED credential

    Minimum 5 years Logistics Experience

    Other Knowledge Skills & Abilities

    Other Knowledge Skills & Abilities: 1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    2. Must be able to travel.
    3. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
    4. Background investigation required.
