    LJT & Associates, Inc. Provides a wide range of engineering and advanced technical and program management solutions to our U.S Governement and international customers. We are searching for a candidate to provide expertise in support of one our primary customer at DISA Ft Meade, MD.

     

    As a member of our SharePoint team, you will develop business-changing enterprise solutions with Microsoft SharePoint and other leading-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience developing web applications using Microsoft and compatible technologies including SharePoint 2013 / 2016 / 2019, Visual Studio, VB.Net, C# and JavaScript.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Evaluate current implementation of SharePoint search
    • Provide recommendations for implementation of SharePoint hybrid search
    • Participate in decision-making process regarding path to implementation
    • Work with business stakeholders to determine search requirements
    • Work with business partners to gather information regarding search sources
    • Develop end-to-end hybrid search solution for the company
    • Customize search results pages as required
    • Monitor search for performance and Optimize search configurations
    • Troubleshoot issues and provide support to resolve
    • Analyze search metrics
    • Document all delivered solutions and conduct training and informational sessions as necessary
    • Design and develop portal content and applications that integrate with other enterprise systems and third party products.
    • Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document Web applications using current .NET and SharePoint 2013/2016 development strategies
    • Assist in the development and definition of test plans and scripts for performance, regression and user acceptance test plans; support QA activities as required
    • Expertise in SharePoint JSOM, CSOM,Webparts, External SharePoint lists content type, Rest Web APIs, C#, SQLServer, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, jQuery
    • SharePoint Designer Workflow with custom workflow knowledge
    • Integrate non-SharePoint related services into SharePoint applications as needed
    • Assist other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing solutions
    • Conduct research on emerging SharePoint development tools and strategies
    • Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades
    • Technical abilities to administer SharePoint including upgrades and troubleshooting of issues

    Qualifications

     

    • Demonstrates specific knowledge of the function and makeup of Microsoft SharePoint Online, 2019, 2016 at a minimum
    • 5+ years hands-on experience with SharePoint Platforms (2013) and 1+ year experience with SharePoint 2016
    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience with software development in Microsoft .Net framework using C# language with strong emphasis on Object Oriented programming and design patterns
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Servers
    • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular.js, Ember, etc.
    • Strong background in .NET with SharePoint 2013 Object Model experience
    • Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Possesses knowledge of best practices for maintaining information security
    • Thinks creatively to devise customizations and uses for SharePoint
    • Exhibits knowledge of software development for SharePoint
    • Knowledge management best practices
    • Communicates clearly and effectively and works well with a team
    • Demonstrated ability to work and conduct research independently

    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline is required. This position requires a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience, of which at least three years must be specialized experience in administrating MS SharePoint

     

    General experience includes operations experience on a large-scale computer system or a multi-server local area network, broad knowledge and experience with system technologies (including networking concepts, hardware, and software), and the capability to determine system and network and application performance capabilities.
